About the event

Join us for an intimate women's circle as we bring in the New Year through cacao, breathwork & sisterhood. We will open space through the powerful medicine of cacao as we open the heart to journey inward. Through the somatic healing of breathwork we will dive into the breath to release what is no longer needed and ignite dreams, desires and intentions for the coming year. As always we will close our circle with a drum meditation and connection and sharing with other women.

Excited to see you!

What is Cacao?

Ceremonial cacao is an ancient spiritual medicine prepared from the cacao bean, the seed of the sweet fruit of the cacao tree. Cacao (aka chocolate) is a powerful plant medicine with many amazing life-affirming qualities that support health and psychological well being. Using ceremonial cacao either in ceremony or as a part of your daily routine does not provide an intense or psychedelic experience, as other plant medicines can give. Instead, it’s more of a gentle nudging opening of your heart, gifting you with all the benefits that come from it. Ceremonial cacao allows you to quiet your mind and focus on your good intentions either for the future, the day or the present moment. It increases energy levels & concentration and is a pathway to creativity. It enhances and deepens meditation. Cacao improves blood flow and circulation and promotes overall health and well-being.

Why Breathwork?

  1. Relaxation & Stress Reduction: Deep, conscious breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system, triggering the relaxation response.
  2. Enhanced Energy & Vitality: Conscious breathing techniques can help increase energy levels & invigorate the body. By optimizing oxygen intake and circulation, breath work can provide a natural energy boost and combat feelings
  3. Healing & Release: Breath work can be a catalyst for emotional & energetic healing. Deep, intentional breathing can help release stagnant or blocked energy, support the body's natural healing processes, & facilitate emotional catharsis & the release of unresolved emotions
  4. Spiritual Exploration & Growth: Breath work has been used as a tool for spiritual practices for centuries. By consciously working with the breath, individuals can access altered states of consciousness, deepen their connection to their inner selves, and explore spiritual dimensions.

Words from Carlene:

"When women come together we create space to grow, to heal, to find likeness within each other. I think in today’s society so much of the media and culture has taught women to compete with one another, but when we come together and realize how much we are a like we can’t help but to connect. We need each other, each of us is unique in our own way, that is our gift to the world. When we can share our gifts with each other, we heal each other as well as ourselves, we rise. There is so much power in the circle of women, with an open heart we can start to see our selves in each other. I would not be where I am today with out the tribe of women who stand behind me. To share that power, the gift of sisterhood with others is true magic.”
